Tell us a little about Spirited Art Scranton, for our readers who might not know you yet.
We are an optimistic painting class for people who want to learn about painting and art in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We offer all kinds of art classes for kids and adults, including art lessons for kids, watercolor workshops, acrylic painting on canvas and wood, glass painting, string art, summer camps and more. We do private parties and team building activities both at our studio in Dickson City and on location.
What do you have planned this year for Lackawanna Arts Fest?
We will have small canvases for walk up painting! We also have something new this year which our summer camp kids have loved. We are going to do a string art project! There will be two classes. All projects are free but you do need to reserve a seat for the string art project.
Do you need any painting experience to participate?
No experience necessary, we guide you step by step through any project that we offer.
What times are the string art sessions and how can folks sign up?
The string art project is for kids and adults. We will have 2 classes of 10 each. They will be held at 2:00pm and 5:00 p.m.
Register for the string art on our website myspiritedart.com under Calendar-Scranton. Scroll down to Aug. 4th and click on the class you want! Use the code ARTFEST18 at checkout. The small canvases are for walk up painting and you do not need a reservation.
