Have you seen our amazing Arts on the Square videos? They are the work of Voyager! They will be running our Facebook Live feed from the music stage and also be capturing footage and photos during the event! Learn more about what Voyager is up to and, if you see them filming on the Square, make sure to say hi!
What is Voyager up to these days?
Lindsay here – Right now we are working on a film called a The Road Less Traveled starring Casey Thomas and Camille Reinecke. The script was written by local Bridget LaMonica, who will be the Director of Photography on the film as well. I will be producing and directing and I am really excited about it! I am looking forward to working with this wonderful cast and crew. We are also working on a film for the Northeast Pennsylvania Film Festival’s Mystery Box Challenge. Jennifer Frey, Dave Corigliano, and I will be working on that together. We have had lots of commercial work so far this past year, and have a few mini-docs we’re looking forward to start working on.
And of course, we are getting pumped for this years Arts On The Square! We will be running the Facebook LIVE feed from the music stage and also be capturing footage and photos during the event! If you see us with a camera, be sure to say HI.
A film we worked on, The 24 Hour War, is doing very well and we’re really excited to see that! Directed by Adam Carolla and Nate Adams, it’s a documentary that explores the race car industry during the 1960’s and an epic race that saw drivers lose their lives, family dynasties nearly collapse and the development of a new race car that changed racing. We shot with them when they came to Pennsylvania to do a segment on and interview the legendary Mario Andretti!
We love the videos you did for AOTS. What did you enjoy most about making them?
I absolutely love doing documentary-style work and I had a great time shooting these mini docs featuring these fantastic artists, craftsmen, and business owners from our area! It means so much to the community that these people are out there – doing it! I think these people are just so extraordinary and showcasing their achievements, determination and hard work is something I love doing as a filmmaker.
If businesses were interested in having you produce a video for them, what should they know and how do they contact you?
That we would love to work with them and will be committed to crafting video content that works best for their business. We work with our clients to make sure that their videos fit into their overall marketing strategy, and handle the time consuming work of doing their online video marketing across social media for them so they can focus on running their business! They can contact us by going to our website VoyagerVideo.com, they can call us at 570-877-8701, or send us a message us at facebook.com/VoyagerVideo/
We’d be remiss if we did not mention that Lindsay and David got married this year! Congratulations to both of you!!! What’s it like to be married to your business and creative partner?
We work amazingly well with each other. I think the BEST part of us getting married is that we filmed our travels like a documentary. We eloped to Hawaii spending 10 days there. Then we traveled to California where we spent another 10 day driving and exploring the whole state. We love our work so much and how we work together that even during our ‘off’ time and wedding celebrations cameras were in hand. We both have a great passion for film and it shows.
Is there anything else you would like our readers to know?
There is a lot more coming for Voyager over this next year! We are really making a big push into online video marketing and developing a process to make it as simple and straight-forward for our clients as possible. These days it’s critical for a small business to be advertising with video and we want to make it more accessible for them. On top of that we’re chasing down our dream of producing documentary films! I have been taking some incredible journalism classes online and really trying to immerse myself in this field, while Dave focuses more on honing our technical skills to make us as efficient as possible. We expect to be creating some really interesting and thought-provoking content very soon!
