Terra Preta is one of our favorite Scranton restaurants and this year they are back to serve up a delicious lunch at AOTS! This farm-to-table restaurant makes everything from scratch with locally-sourced ingredients that will delight vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike! If you are a vendor, you can order via text or FB and they will deliver right to your booth! Come hungry!!!
What’s new with Terra Preta?
Terra Preta has new Summer hours along with a new Summer menu. We are open for dinner Wednesday thru Sunday at 4 pm. Our Summer menu is filled with local scratch made dishes with lots of guests favorites, like Shrimp and Grits, Mushroom Crepes and Barramundi Fish Tacos, but we’ve added a new Vegan section to our menu and some really fresh salads and sides. Every Wednesday you can sample our Summer Menu with 3 courses for $30 plus we have Happy Hour 5-7pm with really delicious cocktails and martinis.
What are you planning for AOTS?
We are planning to serve up some really yummy Summertime lunch items along with cold-pressed juice, infused iced tea, flavored water and vegan desserts! We also plan to deliver lunch to any vendor that is hungry. We will accept their lunch orders via text or Facebook so they don’t have to leave their space.

Why do you like being part of Arts on the Square?
AOTS has a great local, made from scratch, made with love vibe that we just adore! It encompasses everything Terra Preta holds dear, supportive community collaborations, Scranton-love, locally made and made from scratch. Shining the light on all the locally made art in the community is wonderful but it is even more impressive how supportive the community is towards this event! We love meeting so many creative artists and look forward each year to offering the vendors and guests a really delicious and energizing lunch.
What’s the best part of being a business in downtown Scranton?
Downtown businesses are always so supportive. Being a business downtown you will find that there really is a business community that is nurturing and collaborative. This community is so charitable too.
